ABOUT ARGYLE STUDIO

Founded by award-winning engineer Cam Loeppky, Argyle Studio is a recording space located in Winnipeg, Manitoba

A wide range of critically acclaimed artists have recorded sessions at Argyle Studio, from Canadian rock phenoms to celebrated local acts: Sloan, Weakerthans, John K. Samson, Christine Fellows, and Greg MacPherson are among them. See our full client list here.

Located inside a large vacant warehouse that was fully converted into a modern, acoustically rich recording and mixing studio, Argyle Studio features two control rooms (including the smaller, "Argyle Lodge"), and a welcoming live room with high ceilings and sufficient space to track a sizeable ensemble with minimum bleed. The studio is also equipped with an assortment of mics, amps, guitars, a drum kit, and piano.

An extension of the community-minded foundation that was built at Winnipeg music venue, The Good Will Social Club, where Loeppky is a co-owner, Argyle works with established and developing artists, while opening new doors in the community.
